Council Member Sean Dang is a licensed Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in helping businesses invest in cities and neighborhoods. He has helped with the permit issuance of the Dodger Stadium expansion, the LA County Museum of Arts (LACMA) campus transformation, and the Broad Museum just to name a few iconic venues.
Sean is also an Emergency Manager and is in charge of the strategic planning section in which he has written multiple recovery & response plans in dealing with catastrophic emergencies. In addition, Mr. Dang is a Certified Trainer from Cal-OES (Governor’s Office of Emergency Services), where he teaches damage assessment.
Mr. Dang has also taught zoning, fire-life safety protection, accessibility compliance, Green Building Code and structural designs to engineers and inspectors. With his professional experiences, he hopes to bring quality investments into Rosemead and promote economic growth.
Sean is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Engineering. He is a longtime Rosemead homeowner with his wife and two children for more than 18 years. He wants to ensure that Rosemead is a pleasant and safe place to live for all residents. He supports beautiful parks, public safety, traffic mitigation, and anything that will improve the quality of life.
